Rental is fast, simple and convenient; the rental machine is delivered to site, ready to work immediately with a qualified Bobcat SETA-certified operator who is familiar with the machine. “No time is wasted on operator training so the job gets done safely and at maximum efficiency. Once the job is completed, the unit is collected,” explains Burns, adding that this eliminated the need for storage for rental customers who require the machines on a seasonal basis.
Highlighting some of the financial advantages offered by rental, Burns says that there are no deposits, no interest charges and no insurance costs. “As rental offers a new source of funding, existing credit facilities are not affected and long term rentals offer an inflation hedge. In addition to improved liquidity, profitability and solvency ratios, renting also has a number of positive tax implications. It is fully tax deductible because is considered an operating expense.”
“Always sympathetic to end users’ budget constraints, we have structured our payments in accordance with the economic life span of the equipment which leads me to operational costs.
